Scanning receipts

Tap the green camera button. Lay the receipt flat on a dark surface; the scanner finds the edges and takes the photo for you. You can scan several in a row, then tap Review. Check the store, date, total, payment and category, and tap "Looks good, save".

A receipt went to the wrong category

Open it, pick the right category and save. NumeriSnap remembers your choice for that store next time.

Exporting for taxes

Go to Reports and tap "PDF report" for one file with your summary, every entry and all receipt photos, or "ZIP for tax preparer" for a spreadsheet, a Schedule C summary and the photos. NumeriSnap is a bookkeeping helper, not tax advice.

Backup and a new phone

Sign in with Apple, Google or email in More › Account and backup. Sign in with the same account on your new phone and your books come back. Without an account, use More › Download backup and keep the file somewhere safe.

Deleting your account and data

In the app: More › Account and backup › Delete account. This deletes your backed-up data and your account. You can also email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Subscription

NumeriSnap costs $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year. On Android, the optional Trucker add-on costs $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year. New subscribers may get a 7-day free trial. Already subscribed or switching phones? On the subscription screen tap “Already have an account? Sign in”, or tap Restore Purchases. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
